【名稱(chēng)】：大王椰子【別稱(chēng)】：王棕、文筆樹(shù)、大王棕【學(xué)名】：Roystonearegia(HBK.)O.F.Cook【分布】：原產(chǎn)地中美洲古巴、牙買(mǎi)加、巴拿馬，我國(guó)華南、東南及西南省區(qū)引已久，半歸化【分類(lèi)】：棕櫚科，王棕屬       大王椰子單干高聳挺直，可達(dá)15~20公尺，干面平滑，上具明顯葉痕環(huán)紋，莖基部會(huì)有不定根伸展，幼株基部膨大，成株中央部分稍膨大，膨大部分是含水多的地方，乃為適應(yīng)旱地生活所產(chǎn)生；羽狀復(fù)葉長(zhǎng)可達(dá)3~4公尺，小葉披針形，葉鞘綠色，環(huán)抱莖頂，肉穗花序著生于較外側(cè)的葉鞘著生處，花乳白色，雄花：花萼3片，花瓣3瓣，雄蕊6~12；雌花：花瓣嚙合狀排列，不完全雄蕊6枚，呈齒牙狀突起，子房3室，柱頭3，果為漿果，含種子一枚。 常綠喬木，單干，高壯直立，是目前較高大的椰子類(lèi)植物之一，葉黃綠至深綠色，四列狀排列。主干淺褐色，生長(zhǎng)速度緩慢，廣泛應(yīng)用于南方城鎮(zhèn)道路綠化，作行道樹(shù)、園景樹(shù)等。單干，高15～20米高聳挺直，平面平滑，羽狀復(fù)葉，小葉披針形。核果闊卵形。幼株干基肥大，隨成長(zhǎng)逐漸轉(zhuǎn)為上部粗大。干的環(huán)紋圈圈明顯，干面灰白平滑，徑達(dá)50～80厘米。花白色，雌雄同株，穗狀花序，著生于葉鞘的下部，較初包被于一圓筒狀的佛焰苞內(nèi)，花開(kāi)時(shí)則脫佛焰苞而出，小花梗有許多分支，狀如掃帚。       適合盆栽、蔓籬、花壇栽植或叢植。大王椰子因其高大雄偉，姿態(tài)優(yōu)美，四季常青，樹(shù)干挺直如電線(xiàn)桿，成為熱帶及南亞熱帶地區(qū)較常見(jiàn)的棕櫚類(lèi)植物，壽命可長(zhǎng)達(dá)數(shù)十年。列植于會(huì)堂、賓館門(mén)前，或作為城鄉(xiāng)行道樹(shù)，均十分整齊美觀(guān)。園林綠化中還常將其三五株不規(guī)則種植于草坪之上或庭院一角，再配以低矮的灌木于石頭，則高矮錯(cuò)落有致，充滿(mǎn)熱帶風(fēng)光。北方常將幼齡樹(shù)盆栽，用于裝飾賓館的門(mén)廳、宴會(huì)廳和大型會(huì)議室，則風(fēng)采別致，氣度非凡。    本場(chǎng)擁有大量的大王椰子,頭徑有:50CM.60CM.70CM.80CM.100CM.120CM,主桿有600CM--1200CM。且有大量的王椰子苗,有意請(qǐng)電.
